I’m Sofie Louise Dam, a comics artist and illustrator living in Copenhagen, Denmark.

I grew up in a sleepy town north of Copenhagen, and in 2012 I moved to rural Viborg to study classical drawing and comics. I graduated with a BA in Graphic Storytelling in 2017, and have been working freelance on illustrated projects ever since, such as picture books, comics, science communication, and background design for animation (to see a portfolio of my background work, shoot me an email).

I mix traditional media with digital tools depending on the project. I get especially excited about non-fiction storytelling, science communication, and illustrating for children and young adults.
