Kulkælderen 6 / The Mission

Kulkælderen 6 is the sixth self published anthology from the studio Kulkælderen, containing 10 trippy fairytales from 11 artists. Kulkælderen is a comics studio and collective of illustrators and cartoonists, all working independently with comics and illustration.

My contribution is called The Mission (10 pages), and follows the knight Sir Abigail as she goes on a mission to retrieve a stolen gem stone on behalf of her village.

I co-created the cover illustration with my colleague and friend Cathrin Peterslund in a wonderful collaboration. It’s her beautiful ink illustration – we developed the composition and motif together and I did the coloring.
